The Business Card

A psychic once had a business card that said "cash only, bring a blank tape and don't hold me responsible for your life." Wow- how true those words are. I remember this eccentric older woman for whom I used to read. See looked like Maxine from the Hallmark cards, only with dyed black hair. And when I read for her, I could only use my intuition, for she would never allow me to use tarot cards. I remember her coming to see me several months after reading. She was so angry, for she could not contain it. It seemed that a prediction I had made was off by a month and she wanted to know how this could be if I was truly connected to my guides. So I asked her, "Where do you take responsibility for your own life? You can't hold me accountable for your our inactivity. I report how I see a situation based on that moment of time." I recently asked a friend and fellow psychic when she thought a situation was going to change for me. I wanted validation to my own counsel. She gave the same week that I believed to bethe date the change would occur, except you gave me a specific date during that week. Ulimately, it was off by one day. Was she wrong? Actually no. I had received the information I wanted on the date that she predicted but I CHOSE not to respond to it until the next day. So the remember, we all are in control of our lives, and the question still remains...will you take the necessary action(s) when you need to? If you don't, have no excuses. You and only you are responsible for the direction of your life. If you are unemployed, desiring a partner, needing help, by choosing to sit on the couch and worry about a situation will not create the desired outcome. You need to take some kind of action. A simple affirmative prayer with an open heart, creating an energetic alignment is all it takes.
